Cavity Wall Insulation

cavity wall sectionCavity Wall Insulation is the next step after attic insulation to ensure your home is retaining as much heat as possible. Heat loss through uninsulated cavity walls can account for around 35%, meaning more money is spent on your home energy bills. The process of filling your cavity with a bead product can be done usually in a day, and only requires a fully trained two-man team. No hoses or equipment is brought inside your home. New and existing dwellings can benefit from pumped bead insulation.

Benefits
• Quick and clean to install
• Improves the comfort of your home
• Heat loss reduction of up to 35%
• Installation can be carried out and finished same-day
• Eliminates sources of condensation
• Full fill guaranteed each time

Supernova Silver Bead Insulation

Supernova Silver's performance allows for the option of minimal wall thickness utilising materials that are traditional including dense block. In-built infrared reflectors virtually eliminate the effect of heat radiation. Read more on Supernova Silver here.

How it works
Holes of 22mm to 26mm are drilled in the outer leaf spaced 600mm to 650mm apart. The bead is injected into the cavity with the binder through a flexible pipe fitted with a non-directional nozzle. The bead packs to a uniform density inside the cavity. The process works from the bottom upwards. After injection, the holes are filled and rendered to match the existing finish as closely as possible. The team then check for any insulant that have blown up through the cavity into the loft space where any is removed.
